Over 30 years starting from its experience on mosquitoes control, Zapi has invested on insecticide formulations not containing organic solvents such as chlorinated, isoparaffinic, aromatic or aliphatic hydrocarbons. The use of glycolic solvents has been preferred to promote greater safety in use and lower environmental impact.
Zapi can offer a large variety of formulation based on combinations of pyretroids (such as Tethramethrin, Cypermethrin, Permethrin, Natural Pyrethrins, etc.) and Imidacloprid.
Advantages for the environment:
- product authorized (according to national rules) to be used on vegetation
- non phytotoxic formulations
- more favourable classification
Advantages for the user safety:
- limitation of risks of dermal and inhalational contact for operators, users of the service and non-target animals
- no unpleasant odours pot treatment
- limitation of the negative characteristics of active ingredients used, given the absence of petroleum solvents
Advantages for the application:
- possibility to dilute products both in water and glycols depending on the type of equipment used for the application (ULV, nebulizer, atomizer, etc.)
- formulations stable over time, that can rapidly form homogenous emulsion in water
- exaltation of the knocking or residual insecticidal activity
